Peruvian chef Jaime Pesaque spent many years apprenticing at Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy and Spain, including El Celler de Can Roca. Back in Peru, he perfected a unique kitchen style at Al Grano, where he directed his first kitchen. In 2008, Pesaque, with an entrepreneurial spirit and plenty of culinary art, began an adventure of its own and opened its flagship restaurant Mayta, a sophisticated dining room and award-winning Pisco bar in Peru. Pesaque combines contemporary culinary techniques with innovative local products and authentic spices that transform traditional dishes into sophisticated and tasty culinary creations.
