In 2006 restaurateur Tan Do opened the doors of Little V Den Haag for the first time, a small restaurant in the heart of the city. Driven to leave a mark on the Dutch public and to introduce them to Vietnamese cuisine, the concept was built day in and day out. Whatever path was taken, the philosophy and business operations were always clear. At Little V, guests should be able to eat well, receive good personal service and experience this in an attractive, carefully composed interior. The opening of Little V Rotterdam soon followed in 2009 and now, more than 10 years and several renovations later, Little V The Hague and Rotterdam have become a big name for Vietnamese cuisine.
Eating at Little V means getting to know the unique culture of South Vietnamese cuisine. The history of the country has left a special mark on the culinary tradition, with influences from countries such as China, Thailand, India and Indonesia, but also, for example, from a western country such as France. Vietnamese cuisine combines the best of the culinary traditions of these countries and adds specific Vietnamese qualities, the use of ginger, lemongrass and fresh herbs and peppers in the dishes create complex flavors. Our history of versatile, healthy and affordable food.
